How Hive handles personal data collected through this website, including when you join the waitlist or contact us. Hive is in early access; this notice covers the website and waitlist only. A full product privacy policy and Data Processing Agreement will be issued before any customer business data is processed.
Who we are
Hive AI, operating get-hive.ai, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can reach us at hello@get-hive.ai.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist or ask us to contact you.
- Optional details you provide, such as your name, phone number, company, location, team size, departments, technology stack and the work you want Hive to help with.
- Allowlisted campaign attribution, such as campaign, social account, post, creative, industry and workflow identifiers included in the link you followed. We do not store the full referring URL or arbitrary query parameters with your lead.
- Your separate marketing choice, together with when, where and against which notice version it was recorded.
- A distinct analytics identifier and basic technical data (approximate location, device and browser type) only if you accept analytics cookies.
We do not ask for, or want, sensitive personal data through this site.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To operate the waitlist, respond to sales requests and contact you about the service you requested — taking steps at your request and our legitimate interests in managing our early-access programme.
- To send optional product news and other marketing only where you have made a separate, affirmative marketing choice. You can withdraw that choice at any time.
- To measure campaign and site performance. Lead-source attribution is stored with the request we receive; Google Analytics and PostHog run only after you accept analytics cookies.
- To respond to your messages — taking steps at your request.
Cookies & analytics
We use local storage to remember your cookie choice. Google Analytics and PostHog analytics cookies, heatmaps and masked session replay run only if you accept analytics. You can decline without losing access and can withdraw or change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings control shown on the site.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share data with service providers who help us host the site, store and manage leads, send requested email and, where you consent, measure site usage. Our current provider categories include hosting, database/CRM, email and analytics.
International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist data until early access concludes or you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first, and analytics data for a limited period. When you ask us to remove your data, we do.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@get-hive.ai. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
We protect personal data with encryption in transit and at rest and least-privilege access, consistent with the practices described on our Security page.
Children, changes & contact
This site and the waitlist are intended for businesses and people aged 18 or over; we do not knowingly collect data from children. We may update this policy as Hive develops and will change the date above, taking reasonable steps to flag material changes. Questions or requests: hello@get-hive.ai.
