Lukas is a second-time founder, an early-stage investor, and a private-equity operating partner across SME business services and financial and fund services. As Head of Corporate Development at Kin Group, he scaled a business- and fund-services group across multiple countries, growing assets under management past £10bn. He has spent his career inside the service industries — scaling them and learning first-hand how they actually run — and he knows how to build companies and raise capital.
Mir is the AI mind behind Hive — a pioneer in applied AI and a multi-time, venture-backed founder (Antler). He served on the technical staff of Microsoft's Super Intelligence team, was a Product Engineer on Intercom's AI Agent team building conversational AI for 30,000+ businesses, and a Senior AI Engineer at Respond.io. He has built companies, raised from VCs, and shipped AI at real scale — and he leads the architecture of the brain.
Mahin is a computer scientist and the engineer who makes the brain reliable. As Lead Backend Engineer he helped scale Respond.io from seed to a $65M Series B, building messaging infrastructure at more than 13 million daily conversations. He owns the systems and data engineering that let Hive act dependably on a real business.
Complementary, and convicted
Two things have to be true to build the brain for service businesses, and they rarely sit in the same room: someone who has run and scaled service businesses and knows how they actually work, and engineers who have shipped reliable AI at scale. That is the pairing here — a PE operator alongside the AI infrastructure engineers behind 13M+ daily AI conversations. Adjacent fields, deeply complementary, and hard to assemble.
The deeper reason we are building this is conviction. A real shift is underway in the service industries: as AI reprices work from hours to outcomes, tens of thousands of service businesses worldwide will need a brain to get ahead of the curve rather than fall behind it. We want to be the ones who build it — and to be part of that shift, for good.
